El libro [Berta Isla] lo van recorriendo unos versos de T.S. Elliott pertenecientes a 'Little Gidding', uno de 'Los Cuatro Cuartetos'. Esos versos los he traducido yo mismo en la novela. La única traducción al español que me parece aceptable, de Los 'Cuatro Cuartetos', es la del poeta mexicano José Emilio Pacheco. Las otras existentes no me parecen ni poéticamente acertadas.
